Cyclamen are such a dainty, pretty indoor flower that they need a bit of lovin as they are slightly picky.
While in bloom, keep the root ball moist and feed the plant every two weeks. Cyclamen should be kept moist by watering in a tray and allowing the roots to take up the water rather than watering from above the plant which can lead to rotting. Remove yellow leaves and spent flowers to promote further blooms.
The trick to keep them flowering is to put them outside in the cold night air and to bring them back in during the day as they love the cold weather….can’t handle the heat too much. The flower itself will flower during the cooler months and you will be left with the gorgeous dark green foliage during the summer months.
